    Coaching, Consulting, and Creative Collaboration

The journey ahead is not always clear, especially when paths are uncharted, or grow over and change.

Something great is emerging in your world: it just needs a bit more support.

    j. nyla provides value-aligned peer connection, expertise, and design. Don’t struggle with projects and planning: bring on a dreamer and do-er to stay accountable to your or community vision; co-design materials with concrete, live creative direction; get support in integrating ideas, findings, and changing systems.

  • j. nyla facilitates an orientation on communty participatory budgeting for the Youth Power Participatory Budgeting system in the City of Long Beach. They stand masked at a podium while an introductory video plays.

    Workshop and Group Series Facilitation

Young, Black, Brown, disabled, neurodivergent, LGBTQIA2SP+, and systems-impacted voices matter, need space to process harm, build power, and heal.

    j. and uniquely offers training and delivery of Transformative Justice circles as a participatory research method, creating space and change through collective dialogue, peer support, and care.

In addition, j. holds workshops on topics ranging from: media literacy, leveraging tech, strengthening mental health, LGBTQIA2SP+ healthcare, and more.

  • Speaking Engagements and Performances

    j. is a poet, first and foremost.

Storytelling via free verse and spoken word performance is a powerful tool in affecting change.

From plenary performances to featured artist opportunities, j. nyla offers artful public speaking on what feels alive in the spirit of causes that connect people back to their personhood.
